Crochet cushion Cover

 



Materials:


Multiple colors of yarn (cotton or acrylic suggested)


Crochet hook suitable for your yarn


Scissors and darning needle for finishing

Stitches Used (US terms):


ch = chain


sc = single crochet


dc = double crochet


tr = treble crochet


sl st = slip stitch

Pattern Instructions:


Center Circle (Round 1 – Red Dots)


Magic ring, ch 1.


Work 6 sc into the ring. Join with sl st to first sc.



Round 2 – (Purple)


Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc into same st.


Ch 1, 2 dc in next st, repeat around (6 clusters).


Join with sl st.



Round 3 – (Green)


In each ch-1 space: (ch 3, 3 dc, ch 3, sl st) – forms the petals.


Repeat for all 6 petals. Sl st to join.



Round 4 – (Orange Brown)


Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in between petals.


Ch 2, dc between next petals, repeat around.


Join.



Round 5 – (Dark Blue)


Into each ch-2 space, work: 7 dc


Skip space between clusters, repeat in each ch-2 space around.


Join.



Round 6 – (Light Green Dots)


sc in each dc from previous round.


Place a sc in the top of each petal.


Join with sl st.



Round 7 – (Light Green "X")


Begin to shape the square:


3 tr in one stitch (cluster corner), ch 2, 3 tr (corner).


dc, hdc, sc along the edge until next corner.


Repeat all 4 corners with 3 tr, ch 2, 3 tr.




Round 8 – (Red/Final Round)


dc in each stitch, working 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in each corner ch-2 space to maintain square shape.


Continue around. Join and fasten off.

You can then stitch two squares together and stuff them to create a pillow like in the photo.
